Anritsu and VTT have demonstrated a significant advancement in D band wireless communications by validating an electronically beam steered transmitarray antenna under realistic over the air conditions. Using Anritsu’s precision test equipment and VTT’s lightweight transmitarray antenna, the system achieved stable multi gigabit links across the 110 to 170 GHz band, including 20 Gbps over 1 m and reliable performance up to 7 m with bandwidths up to 8 GHz. The results confirm the feasibility of scalable, high capacity D band links for future backhaul, industrial, defense and 6G applications.
